This concealed weapon permit class gets you the necessary training required to get a concealed weapons permit. This class is more extensive because it goes over firearm safety and familiarization and the Florida Statutes (776 and 790) which deal with carrying a firearm and using a firearm. Once you have your certificate of training, you can go to one of many licensing locations, fill out the application for your concealed weapons permit, have your fingerprints and a mug shot done, and then apply for your concealed weapons permit.
